Refurbishment
If a PC or other item still meets your business needs, apart from a few key components, such as hard disk capacity, we can refurbish it.
Refurbishment gives older PCs a new lease of life and is ideal if PCs are passed on in your company.
Disposal
When I.T. equipment reaches the end of its useful life it can’t be disposed of in landfill sites any more. Equanet can organise to have your equipment disposed of in accordance with Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) regulations.
Data recovery or destruction
Equanet can recover the data on old hard disks and other media, or we can certify its destruction in accordance with the Data Protection Act. The service is fully auditable. We can conduct this on-site, if required.
On-site I.T. healthcheck
We can visit your premises to check the health of your entire network. A healthcheck will match your business requirements to your PCs' or network’s capabilities, check on the status of software licences and furnish a report of recommendations for
improving performance to meet with your business needs.
On-site upgrade
Our engineering teams are available to install upgrades purchased from Equanet to your PCs and Notebooks.

Hardware maintenance
Our hardware maintenance service provides on-site support for hardware beyond the manufacturer’s warranty. You can select from a range of response times to ensure that if anything goes wrong, you’re up and running again within your agreed service level.
Choose from 1, 2 and 3 year periods with multi-year discounts to fit with your product lifecycle. Service levels vary from 365-day cover, 8 and 4-hour fix or on-site next business day response.
Hardware support
It is highly likely that hardware will breakdown whilst it’s still in use. Repairs can be costly so is the impact on the business of
individual downtime. Businesses need to get their hardware working again as quickly and hassle-free as possible.

Software support
Software issues are the most common form of computer problem in business, but that doesn’t make them any less frustrating.
An Equanet software support contract will ensure all your employees have direct access to telephone support for software issues.
