The FAX-JX500 is the first fax to use Canon's advanced FINE print head technology for high quality, high-speed printing. A 600 x 600dpi print resolution delivers faxes that are clear and easy to read - at a fast print speed of 10 seconds per page. You can even use the FAX-JX500 as a convenient copier with the same fast, professional output.
A built-in digital answering machine with 30 minutes recording time ensures that you won't miss a single message when you're out of the office. You benefit from a total fax, telephone, answering machine and copier solution in one compact unit.
A 120-page fax memory safely stores all incoming documents if paper or toner runs out, for printing out later. Lengthy documents can also be scanned rapidly before transmission for sending automatically from memory, freeing up valuable time.
The 20-page Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) lets you fax multiple large documents with ease without splitting them up first. A 100-sheet auto feeder cuts down on cassette paper refilling time.
Ultra High Quality (UHQ) image processing transmits detailed documents perfectly, such as diagrams or photos combined with text. Half-tone reproduction with 256 gray scales gives extra depth and clarity to images.
Stop unwanted or junk faxes and save on paper and ink. A direct mail preventative function restricts incoming faxes to recognized numbers or to transmissions carrying TTI (Transmitter Terminal Identification) information.
