Having spun off from its parent company, their Network Manager was spending time away from the office. We supplied an engineer two days a week for six months - extended to 12 months.

Challenge

NXP Semiconductors had spun off from it’s parent company, Philips. This meant their Network Manager was spending more and more time at their European HQ in Holland.

Solution

Equanet offered NXP an engineering resource to compliment the existing network team. A fully trained engineer was supplied on-site 2 days a week for 6 months.

Outcome

A 6 month contract become a 12 month contract.During the time frame Equanet have also engaged upon a WAN optimisation project, A Cisco CCIE technical overview, a network health check project and a hardware upgrade.
